The Synchronic Rotation Series are comprised of pigment prints mounted into deep-set wood shadowbox fames. The abstracted geometric shapes are extracted from the Stack Series sculptures. As if looking through the sculptures from a specific vantage point, the series captures the voids in motion, recalling one’s movement through space and time. The two-dimensional nature of the images set into the deep wood shadow boxes reinforces their origins in the three-dimensional world.
