The Madison Square Park installation consists of a twenty-four feet tall Stackworks sculpture fabricated from stainless steel. The interior surfaces will be mirror-polished, while the exterior will have a contrasting textured brushed surface. The sculpture is to be located in the Southwest corner of the park near the intersection of Broadway & 23rd Street. The site takes advantage of the convergence of several pedestrian pathways, and some adjacent iconic buildings, including the Flatiron and Metropolitan Life tower.
