The Mechanism of Seeing is a site specific installation employing the Stack 2 aluminum sculpture. Three walls of the intimate space are painted brightly saturated colors, the fourth wall remains a neutral white. As the viewer walks around the sculpture the colors reflect within the mirror-polished interior, creating a multitude of ever-changing fragments of colors, shapes, and form, as well as fractured images of the viewer themselves.
