The SPIN Series images are open-shutter photographs that capture the Stackwork Maquettes in rotation about a single axis. The rate of rotation is altered in each image, and a variable start and stop mechanism captures the maquettes in multiple frames, from smooth blurred images, to a series of fragmented spins. The resulting images allude to the fragmentary nature of our own perceptual experiences, and how perception, time, and memory all work together to bring us the world we experience.

The series is printed on Hahnemuhle matte cotton rag paper using archival pigment inks, and mounted in deep shadow box frames.
